ComicBook.com proudly present an updated iteration of the classic 1996 superhero publisher throwdown DC Vs. Marvel. We're looking at the rosters of both DC Comics and Marvel Comics, now two decades removed from the original event, and reimagining what that fight card may look like if the event took place today. And, just like in the original DC Vs. Marvel event, you, the fans, will vote to decide the winners!

In this matchup, we have Nightwing of the DC Universe taking on Daredevil of the Marvel Universe! We've laid out arguments for both sides in the video above, now it's up to you to vote!

In the DC Comics corner: Dick Grayson was once the Robin, the Boy Wonder. Bruce Wayne took the orphaned young acrobat into his home as his ward, and Batman took Robin under his wing as his sidekick. But as Dick grew older, he grew tired of living in Batman's shadow and stuck out on his own, becoming the vigilante called Nightwing.

Nightwing uses everything he learned from Batman – including martial arts, stealth, and the know-how to make use of advanced gadgets and weaponry – plus a few tricks he picked up on his own, including acrobatics.

Unlike his mentor, Nightwing seeks to prove that, whether he be protecting Gotham, New York City, or Bludhaven, or even while taking over as Batman, being a hero doesn't mean living in the darkness. Over the years, Nightwing has maintained his upbeat, witty personality, and proven to be a born leader when among the Titans.

Dick Grayson has recently returned to his life as Nightwing after time spent as a spy for the espionage organization called Spyral. The many fans he's earned over the years are thrilled to see Nightwing back on the street and are sure to show their support by voting for him.

In the Marvel corner: Matt Murdock was a hero long before he became Daredevil. As a child, he heroically saved a blind man from being struck by a truck carrying chemicals, and in return, those same chemicals splashed onto his eyes and blinded him.

While Matt lost his natural sight, his other senses became enhanced to the point that he gained a kind of radar vision. Under the tutelage of the blind master martial artist known as Stick, the grit and determination instilled in Matt by his father, the boxer "Battling" Jack Murdock," was refined into the masterful, acrobatic hero known as Daredevil.

As a lawyer by day and a vigilante by night, Daredevil has dedicated his entire life to being a hero on both sides of the law. Daredevil's life is often a tragic one and, after a brief period of levity and a relocation to San Francisco, Daredevil has returned to New York City and is operating even further in the shadows than before.

Daredevil's gritty, street level justice has made him a popular staple of the Marvel Universe for decades. Its time for fans to show their love by voting for Daredevil.

So, dear reader, will be Nightwing or Daredevil? Make your choice and vote! And check back for more of ComicBook.com's updated DC Versus Marvel matchups!
