When Zack Snyder had to step away from directing Justice League due to a family tragedy, it was announced that Joss Whedon would be stepping in to finish the film ahead of its November release.

Now, Joe Morton, who plays Dr. Silas Stone, aka Cyborg's dad, is talking about what it was like to work with both directors on the upcoming Justice League film.

In an interview with GameSpot, Morton, who also appeared in Batman v. Superman under Snyder's direction, said that he enjoyed working with both Snyder and Whedon. He also had nothing but praise for Snyder and his filmmaking expertise.

"I enjoyed working with both directors. Joss Whedon was terrific and so was Zack Snyder," Morton said. "Zack is intense about the work. He knows film inside and out. It's very light-hearted and comic book-ish."

Morton previously revealed that he had been part of Whedon's reshoots adjusting the tone of Ray Fisher's Cyborg and while Morton didn't offer up anything new about Whedon's work on Justice League, he did say that both directors' knowledge of comic books brought a lot to the making of the film.

"I think with comic films, the guys that do them know the comics so well they bring that whole attitude with them onto the set. It's delightful. It's great."

Justice League opens November 17.
