Dragon Ball Super is getting ready to host a training spar for the ages. Next week, the anime is set to bring Gohan and Piccolo back together as the pair trains for the Tournament of Power. After Gohan learned firsthand how powerful their opponents would be during the exhibition rounds, the half-Saiyan is eager to power up. However, his time spent as a husband, father, and scholar have dulled his battle senses. Luckily, it seems like Piccolo has a plan to sharpen his pupil’s fighting.
In the preview for Dragon Ball Super’s next episode, fans can watch as the two begin their training. A voiceover of Goku can be heard saying that Piccolo is the only one he trusts his son’s training to. The pair are then seen fighting as Piccolo duplicates himself into countless enemies for Gohan to fight.
