The first movie of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is titled Part 1: Akaza, and while this alone confirms the Demon Slayers’ confrontation with the Upper Rank Three demon, Akaza, as the main event, the trailer also strongly emphasizes this battle with Tanjiro and Giyu joining forces against the formidable foe. What makes this clash even more significant is that the foundations for Tanjiro’s confrontation with Akaza were laid five years ago in the 2020 film. Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment revealed the final major event in the promo, featuring Zenitsu Agatsuma facing the Upper Rank Six demon, Kaigaku. A battle trailer released alongside the movie confirmed the main reason for this fight, showing that both Zenitsu and Kaigaku are Thunder Breathing users and students of Jigoro Kuwajima. Since Kaigaku has become a demon, the battle carries heavy personal emotions, and the trailer highlights a striking detail that underscores their differences: Zenitsu can use only the first form of the breathing technique, while Kaigaku can use the remaining five. This makes the fight deeply rooted in their shared past, and fans can look forward to seeing a side of Zenitsu unlike anything before, an experience worth witnessing on the big screen.
