My Hero Academia has officially returned for the final season of its anime, and the premiere episode has fully revealed Invisible Girl Toru Hagakure’s full form after nine long years of the anime. My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON is headlining the jam packed schedule of new anime airing for the Fall 2025 anime schedule, and that means that the war between the heroes and villains will soon be over after eight seasons of TV. There are still some big moments from Kohei Horikoshi’s original manga that need to make their way to screens, and that includes some major reveals fans have been waiting for.

My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON picks up right from where the previous season left off as All Might and Deku are now in the climactic final fights against All For One and Tomura Shigaraki. But while much of the key fights have been settled by this point, there are still a few villains that need to be taken down. That includes one that Toru and Yuga Aoyama work together to defeat, and through this fans get to see a full reveal at the Invisible Girl’s real design. Warning! My Hero Academia Reveals Full Look at Hagakure After 8 Seasons
My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON Episode 1, “Toshinori Yagi: Rising,” reveals that Aoyama and a few of the other heroes have been caught in the clutches of one of the Tartarus escapees, Kunieda, and they are being drained by the villain’s deadly plant quirk. With Aoyama being the only one left to take down the villain, he charges up his navel laser and begins to fire it randomly. But it’s soon revealed that Hagakure has jumped behind the villain, and is able to gather all of Aoyama’s lasers together to hit Kunieda with a more powerful (and charged up blast).
This blast is powerful enough to defeat the villain, but refracting that light ends up shorting out Hagakure’s own quirk. The post-credits scene reveals her full form (and the fact that she had been walking around naked to avoid detection before), and Hagakure realizes that much like when it happened briefly before back in Season 7, refracting Aoyama’s light has become a much more involved process. His quirk has become stronger, and bouncing that off of her ends up shorting out Hagakure’s own light based invisibility in the process.
What Does This Mean for Invisible Girl’s Future?
Now that Hagakure’s full self has been revealed to fans and the world, it’s likely that her time in the main spotlight will be coming to an end. Funny enough, the new opening theme sequence for My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON reveals Hagakure’s full look as well. She’s seen as one of the other many young heroes from Class 1-A who have barely survived the war, and supporting Deku from afar. But in terms of spotlight moments, this is likely going to be it.
My Hero Academia has been winding down its moments for the major characters as each of the fights have come to their respective conclusions through the past season, and that means that there are going to be very few others to focus on as it narrows to its grand finale. Hagakure does have a chance of getting a big moment of her own still, but this moment here helps to wrap up her major story with the reveal of her biggest mystery.
