DC Co-Publisher Jim Lee has been one of the most sought-after artists in comics for decades, having worked on high-profile projects like X-Men at Marvel, Gen 13 at Image (after helping to found the company) and, most recently, Justice League with writer Geoff Johns at DC Comics. This weekend at the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo, it was announced that he would be providing a cover for The Tower Chronicles, an original graphic novel being developed by Legendary Comics based on characters created by Legendary's founder, Thomas Tull. Centering around a bounty hunter with a supernatural twist, the concept is set to launch as a trilogy and is being developed by Tull and famed Mage and Grendel creator Matt Wagner. Legendary, which has been in the movie and TV business since 2004, launched its comic book label in 2011 with Holy Terror by writer/artist Frank Miller, whose graphic novel 300 had previously been developed for film by Legendary and Warner Brothers. A sequel is currently in the works. Miller has, of course, also worked with Jim Lee in the recent past, as the writer on DC's aborted All-Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder, which Lee drew.
