Arrow Makes Time For the Clock King This Spring

According to TVLine's weekly spoiler column, Arrow will be bringing William Tockman, better known to comic book fans as The Clock King, to the back half of the show's second season. Says TVLine's Michael Ausiello, "Sources confirm that The CW hit will introduce the pivotal DC Comics baddie later this season. The casting notice calls for an actor in his 40s or 50s to play the criminal mastermind who has 'the mind of a chess grandmaster, and can envision all the interlocking pieces of Starling City and adjust them in favor of his crimes.'" Of course, some fans will remember a campier, crazier version of the Clock King--one whose mask was the actual face of a clock and who served briefly in the Justice League Antarctica. We're guessing that version won't be making it to the grim-and-gritty world of Starling City, but you never can tell! With Barry Allen joining the cast this week, the world of Arrow is about to become a very different place.
