The Flash is one of the biggest hits in superhero TV genre, but it is, of course, not immune to criticism. And no property - no matter how good - is safe from the exacting insights on Screen Junkies' Honest Trailers. So today, before The Flash season 3 premiere's on The CW, fans can have a good chuckle at The Flash: Honest Trailer.

The gist of the video consists of poking fun at the Flash's mix of comic book camp and CW soapy drama - which totally should not work, but somehow both entertains fans with comic book action on a TV budget, and constantly hits them right in the feels, emotionally. Yep, that's The Flash alright...

On the more nitpicky side, Honest Trailers continues its proud tradition for pattern recognition by nailing the various cast members on their foibles: such as Barry's sorrowful laments about getting faster; Caitlin's sorrowful laments about her fiancee (and her 1,000 job titles); iris's obliviousness; Cisco's alter-ego as "Captain Obvious"; Harrison Wells' obvious sinister overtones; Joe's #1 Dad status; Star Labs' Deus Ex Machina inventive abilities, and so much more...

...Like all those recycled super-speed running sequences.

Check out the video above for the full goodness, and look out for Screen Junkies' Honest Trailers every Tuesday.

The Flash premieres on October 4; Arrow on October 5; Supergirl October 10; and Legends of Tomorrow on October 13. Each show airs at 8/7c on The CW.
