Robin might be the leader of the Titans, but it looks as though Dick Grayson’s caped mentor could be appearing in the series as well.

A new report from That Hashtag Show has revealed a couple of new casting breakdowns for DC‘s live action Titans series, hinting that Bruce Wayne himself may show up in a recurring role.
Check it out:
“[DAVE STORY]Male, mid 30s-40s, Caucasian. The downfalls of others only make this man stronger. Polished Unwavering. Think a young Jack Nicholson. RECURRING GUEST STAR.”
While it doesn’t explicitly state that this is Bruce Wayne, it certainly adds up. The descriptions of “polished” and “unwavering” sound a lot like Batman‘s secret identity. Many would likely describe Christian Bale’s suave take on the character as a younger version of Jack Nicholson.
Additionally, the “recurring guest star” bit is worth paying some extra attention to. Rather than just a side character, or a recurring role, this is listed as a guest star, hinting that the actor who gets the part will be fairly established and that they’ll receive guest star credits for the episodes they’re featured in.
The first look at Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson was recently released, and it revealed that the character was still fighting crime as Robin, not Nightwing. With that in mind, it would stand to reason that Dick isn’t far removed from his time working with Batman.
Titans is set to debut in 2018 on DC’s upcoming streaming service.
