Echo Kellum Hopes To Get Mr. Terrific Costume In Arrow Season 5

Echo Kellum couldn't be more excited to be a more instrumental part of Team Arrow in the upcoming fifth season, but he's going to need a costume ASAP.

Kellum plays Curtis Holt on the show, an obvious homage to Mr. Terrific, who is named Michael Holt in the comics. While it might've taken all season, the character is poised to be a much bigger part of Arrow in its fifth year.

Ia recent discussion with Moviefone, Kellum was asked about the possibility of getting a costume soon.

"Yes, yes. Second that! Where is my costume? Guggenheim, if you're listening, or reading, whatever: Where's my costume? No, I definitely want to suit up really bad. But I understand. It's this arc. You've got to build up to it. But I definitely hope -- and I believe, hopefully, within this season we should see Curtis Holt get there in some capacity. So I'm really looking forward to all that's happening."

In the comics, the character is considered to be the third smartest man on earth, and while he has enhanced strength, stamina, and agility, the character's knowledge of science is one of his most identifying aspects. It's part of the reason why Kellum loves playing him so much on the show.

"That's something that's really fascinating about the character, because everything that we know and have as human beings is all predicated through science. So whether he's going through dimensions or whatnot, it's just really cool to see someone really delve into that. Because we need more scientists. We need more people helping forward humanity."

Arrow returns for its fifth season later this year.
