Fans of DC Comics' speedster The Flash are fortunate. They have two live-action representations of Barry Allen to enjoy, one on television and one appearing later this month on the big screen in Justice League and while there are some who may prefer one version over the other, Justice League star Ezra Miller thinks that true fans will appreciate both versions.

Miller recently told Canada's eTalk that The Flash's history has so many versions that real fans will be familiar with many of them and his job in portraying one is a responsibility that he takes very seriously.

"I think a true fan of The Flash would know a bunch of versions throughout a really gorgeous history that goes back a long time so there is a weight to the responsibility, you know, that we hold to bring these character to life but how amazingly nice for me to do it in the context of such an extraordinary ensemble," Miller said

Fans of The Flash will be glad to hear that Miller is taking his part in Flash history very seriously. When it came to casting the DCEU version of DC's Fastest Man Alive, many had hoped that Grant Gustin, who plays Barry Allen in The CW's Arrowverse, might take the character to the big screen. However, Miller was cast in the role in 2014 and debuted in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice before being set to reprise his role in both Justice League and the upcoming Flashpoint movie. And despite some fan disappointment, Gustin himself is excited to see Miller suit up as the Speedster.

"Ezra is absolutely the more established actor in film, with the acting chops to back it up," Gustin said on social media. "I'm excited to see what he does with Barry Allen/The Flash."

And Flash fans will get to see that very soon. Justice League opens in theaters on November 17, 2017.

Justice League currently has a 4.17 out of 5 ComicBook.com User Anticipation rating making it the third most anticipated upcoming comic book movie among ComicBook.com readers.
