The CW has released (via ET) another sneak peek from tonight’s “Welcome to Earth” episode of Supergirl, and it features Mon-El waking up from his coma and immediately attacking the Woman of Steel, tossing her like a ragdoll through a plate of glass. He then scrambles to his feet and takes out several DEO agents with ease, showing off his super-speed and super-strength. Alex arrives, armed with a bazooka-like weapon, but before she can fire it, Mon-El leaps from a balcony and safely lands on the street below.

An attack is made on the President (guest star Lynda Carter) as hot-button, alien vs. human rights issues heat up in National City. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and the DEO are assigned to protect the President and bring in the responsible party. Alex (Chyler Leigh) teams up with Detective Maggie Sawyer (Floriana Lima) to investigate the case while Kara searches for a recently escaped Mon-El (Chris Wood), who she fears may be the alien behind the assault.
