Now that The Flash is back from hiatus and nearing the end of its third season, fans can expect the resolution of many of season's plotlines. One of the biggest - and most anticipated by the show's fanbase - has been the evolution of Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) into Killer Frost.
With Caitlin fully embracing her metahuman powers - and villainous tendencies - in recent episodes, Panabaker has been outspoken about the new turn for her character.
While she recently spoke about her thoughts on Killer Frost's costume, she also revealed what new challenges have been brought by portraying the persona.
"Obviously, I was hired to play the very sweet scientist." Panabaker explained to TVLine. "But I've been super-excited about playing Killer Frost ever since I signed onto the show. It's something that I really wanted. It's a great way for people to see that this cast is capable of pulling off multiple characters."
While Panabaker has been gotten to play Killer Frost several times since the brief glimpse of her in The Flash's season one finale, the actress reassures that upcoming episodes will really show what the character is capable of. Panabaker referenced next week's 'I Know Who You Are', which pits Killer Frost against Cisco Ramon/Vibe (Carlos Valdes) and the rest of Team Flash.
"It's a real test of Killer Frost's abilities," Panabaker revealed. "And her devotion — how badly she wants to be a part of the dark side as they all sort of duke it out."
