Getting a Nintendo Switch hasn't exactly been easy since the system launched in March, mainly due to its limited availability. However, GameStop is looking to change the luck of several gamers soon, as it's set to receive a fresh supply of systems that will be available both in-store and online.

The retailer has announced that the Switch consoles will be received "at select stores across the country", though it didn't note specifically which day they would be coming in, so you want to keep checking in. The rep for the company noted that units "will arrive at different times throughout the week due to shipping," and will be sold to those consumers on a first-come, first-serve basis.

If you're not lucky enough to grab a system while you're in a nearby store, you've got a second chance to get one online, as GameStop will be re-introducing a number of bundles that will let you get the system with some accessories. This includes games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the just-released ARMS with certain bundles, as well as accessories like the JoyCon charging dock and other things. The bundles can vary by price, but usually go for around $450 on up, depending on what's included. Again, a GameStop rep didn't note when these bundles would be on sale, but it helps to continue checking with the company's official site regularly to see when they're available.

This is a good opportunity for players to get their hands on a Nintendo Switch before the big holiday rush starts up this fall, following the release of Splatoon 2 next month and the forthcoming arrival of big games like Super Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, both of which are likely to be instant sellers. And next year will get even more frantic with games from the Kirby and Yoshi series, along with a new Metroid Prime 4 title and Pokemon game waiting in the wings.

Good luck, shoppers. Remember, shop early, shop often, and eventually you'll get your hands on Nintendo's new system and the great games that come with it!
