The next pair of legendary-looking skin are fast approaching, and Riot Games has been consistently letting hints out about the much-anticipated Yasuo and Riven skins. Both Dawnbringer Riven and Nightbringer Yasuo are looking like massive successes on the part of Riot, as even players that would normally despise the champions in question are looking forward to the new pair of skins.

Both skins are, in a word, beautiful. Both sit in the legendary tier of skins and come patch 7.12 will be available for the traditional 1820 RP. They both feature all-new voiceovers, as well as a unique set of sound effects and spell effects. The new particle effects on Dawnbringer Riven deserve special mention, as Riven's base effects are quite muted and boring. The new skin features effects that are both bright and crystalline, including an impossible to miss -- or forget -- Wind Slash. Speaking of Riven's ultimate, Dawnbringer Riven doesn't just wield a reforged sword during her ultimate, she actually transforms into another heavenly character model entirely. Nightbringer Yasuo is also in on the action, however, as his ultimate has also had its visual effects heavily reworked to jive with his infernal theme a bit more.

All of this information was already readily available before, though. What wasn't readily available until Riot revealed it earlier this morning was what the new skins' splash art would look like, and Riot certainly didn't disappoint. Riot posted this combined image of the two splash arts to their Facebook page, and followed up with the individual art pieces later in the day, both of which have been attached to this article. Basically, if you were worried about whether or not these skins would look as good in the loading screen as they do on the Rift, then worry no more. Both skins have splash art far above the average for League of Legends, to the point where it wouldn't look out of place as a desktop background.
