It's finally here! After months of waiting, fans at Comic-Con International were finally treated to their first-look at Marvel's Luke Cage series that's slated to hit Netflix later this year.

Marvel kicked off the panel earlier with Executive Producer and Marvel TV Head Jeph Loeb moderating the event. Cast and crew such as Mike Colter, Alfre Woodard, Mahershala Ali, Theo Rossi, Frank Whaley, Simone Missick, and Cheo Hodari Coker were all present for the panel and Q&A.

Fans have been looking forward to this teaser footage for awhile now as rumors have been circulating that Luke Cage footage would debut at San Diego Comic Con this year. Of course, viewers will remember the down-right impervious superhero as Luke first appeared in Marvel's Jessica Jones when it was released last November

Luke Cage will focus on the character's life in Harlem and his fugitive status as the hero persistently attempts to evade his past. Wanting to live in anonymity, Luke finds himself thrust into his city's underbelly as the hero-for-hire is forced to confront his dangerous past to save those around him.

Today's event comes ahead of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD panel tomorrow which is promising to drop some big news about the studio's primetime series.

Luke Cage is slated to hit Netflix on September 30th 2016.
