Marvel Studios has released a trailer teaser ahead of the anxiously-awaited Avengers: Infinity War trailer. Fans will finally be able to get their first official look at the first Infinity War footage when the trailer premieres on Wednesday.

Marvel dropped the trailer teaser on its Twitter account Tuesday morning. The tease comes after directors Joe and Anthony Russo shared a vague message to their official Facebook account Monday morning, hinting at fans the release was near.

Disney and Marvel debuted the first Infinity War footage at D23 Expo 2017 in July, showing it again at San Diego Comic Con. Both sneak peeks were exclusively for event attendees and no footage has been officially released online.

Snippets of footage — including a lengthy clip from the film featuring the Guardians of the Galaxy — leaked online Sunday, after screenshots of that same footage trickled onto the internet the week prior.

Marvel and Vanity Fair debuted four Infinity War themed covers Monday, revealing their massive photoshoot celebrating ten years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 83 Marvel stars — franchise veterans and newcomers alike — assembled for the undertaking, including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Benedict Cumberbatch and Danai Gurira.

The most ambitious Marvel blockbuster yet, Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige says the superhero epic will be a finale for the first distinct period of Marvel's linked universe — and there are still many movies in the pipeline for that second period.

Avengers: Infinity War will unite the franchises of the shared Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time, assembling the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and more to save the universe from the machinations of the villainous Mad Titan Thanos.

Avengers: Infinity War opens May 4.
