'Avengers: Infinity War' Trailer Screenshots Have Leaked Online

Marvel Studios has been incredibly secretive about Avengers: Infinity War, but thanks to a leak fans now have their first look at the much-anticipated film.

Several photos are making the rounds online that show a number of Avengers. The first photo is of Vision as he watches someone from behind a gate of some kind. The next few reveal Scarlet Witch near an explosion, but it's hard to tell if she is keeping the explosion from spreading or if she is causing it.

The next shows Drax standing next to Star-Lord and Gamora, but it isn't clear what they're looking at.

It's the next few photos that deliver the biggest reveal, however, as fans get their first look at Proxima Midnight fighting Cap's underground Avengers. Falcon can be seen charging at Midnight, while Scarlet Witch is doing something with her hex magic. A bearded Cap stands beside Falson and a blonde Black Widow as they stare up into the sky, but not sure if it is Midnight or something else. Midnight can be seen charging ahead to attack as well.

For those not familiar with the character, Proxima Midnight is one of Thanos' most valued lieutenants in his deadly Black Order and is probably the most vicious of them in combat. Part of that can be seen in the images, which features her throwing what looks like her trademark spear. The spear has the ability to transform into three daggers of black light that sear through pretty much anything, but the weapon also has the ability to create black light nets.

That might not sound that amazing until you factor in the nets have the weight of a star, so unless you're the Hulk good luck getting out of that.

The rest of the Black Order includes Proxima Midnight's husband Corvus Glaive, Supergiant, Black Dwarf, and Ebony Maw. Just one of them will pose a threat to any Avengers team, nonetheless all of them together. Needless to say, the Avengers will have their hands full.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018.
