If you have seen Doctor Strange already, then you might have a serious case of car envy. Before Stephen Strange transforms into a powerful sorcerer, the guy is a world-renowned surgeon who lives lavishly. The doctor spreads his wealth with classy watches and a rather spectacular sports car. Now, Marvel Studios and Lamborghini are teaming up to give a behind-the-scenes look at how Strange's lamborghini fit into the film's shooting schedule.
The video touts Doctor Strange's car as a "very high performance, expensive, beautiful car" - and they are right.
Mark Mottram, a stunt coordinator on the set, explained that they were given six Lamborghini Huracans to play with. The stunt team was given two as was special effects. They also had two on hand to absolutely destroy for the camera.
Ian Clarke, picture vehicle supervisor, said he thinks "the car's fantastic and the cars performed extremely well."
"We liked the idea of the Lamborghini because it helped establish the prestige level that Doctor Strange was living life at. But then he is an accident that mangles his hands and if effectively takes away his life as neurosurgeon."
