That was the topic of discussion in a recent Facebook Q&A with Guardians director James Gunn. He was asked which Avenger he would bring into the movie if he could have anyone in the MCU. Gunn said “I like Paul Rudd personally, so probably Ant-Man.

Rudd’s lovable hero has quickly become a fan favorite, especially after his fantastic part in Captain America: Civil War. Even with Spider-Man and Black Panther making debuts, there were fans who came out of the movie saying Ant-Man was the best part.

Last fans left Ant-Man, he was hiding out on Wakanda with the rest of Captain America’s resistance force, consisting of Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, and Falcon.

Ant-Man and the Guardians will finally meet in Infinity War, and from there who knows? Maybe this wish becomes a reality?
