This post contains spoilers for season four of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD.

In a surprising turn of events, Mallory Jansen's character Aida has been unveiled as the true villain over the course of this season on Agents of SHIELD. Now, the actress has revealed through Twitter that she has wrapped filming for the season.

Starting out as a project of Dr. Holden Radcliffe's Life Model Decoy program, Aida has gone from servant to accomplice and now, she heads up Hydra — in at least one virtual reality, that is. After stealing an ancient text known as the Darkhold from the confines of a secret SHIELD base, Aida used the book to practice black magic to help Radcliffe create a Matrix-like reality called the Framework.

While Dr. Radcliffe had seemingly innocuous intentions by creating the reality to house the consciousness of a terminally ill lover, Aida turned it a reality ruled by Hydra and in turn, a reality she rules with an iron fist as Madame Hydra.

The show is currently in the midst of airing its third and final pod — a new format Marvel Television introduced this year that split one season into three separate story arcs. 22 episodes were ordered for this season so when it's all said and done, Jansen will have appeared in 17 of the 22 episodes.

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
