Marvel's Comic Con Gift to Ravagers That Appeared At Guardians of the Galaxy Panel

Aside from the footage that was shown to those in attendance, the highlight of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 portion of Marvel's Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic Con was the fun-filled appearance from the actors who portray The Ravagers. They showed up in-costume and in-character, hilariously berating and heckling each other, the audience, director James Gunn, and the star-studded cast (except for legendary actor Kurt Russell).

To thank them for their effort, Marvel Studios had one of their marvelous in-house conceptual artists, Jackson Sze, illustrate a gift for them that featured their likenesses.

"This was the framed gift Marvel Studios gave to each of the Ravagers as a gift for helping us out by appearing at San Diego Comic-Con," Gunn wrote. "Thanks, guys!"

Ravagers R Us, starting from left to right: Gef the Ravager (Steve Agee), Taserface (Chris Sullivan), Scrote (Mike "Rooftop" Escamilla), Half-Nut (Jimmy Urine), Brahl (Stephen Blackehart), Narblik (Terence Rosemore), Kraglin (Sean Gunn), Oblo (Joe Fria), Wretch (Evan Jones), and Yondu (Michael Rooker), as well as two Ravagers that weren't at SDCC.

Set to the backdrop of 'Awesome Mixtape #2,' Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes' aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is written and directed by James Gunn (Slither). The film marks the return of the original Guardians, including Chris Pratt (Jurassic World) as Peter Quill/Star-Lord; Zoe Saldana (Star Trek Into Darkness) as Gamora; Dave Bautista (Spectre) as Drax; Vin Diesel (Furious 7) as the voice of Groot; Bradley Cooper (American Sniper) as the voice of Rocket; Michael Rooker (Jumper) as Yondu; Karen Gillan (The Big Short) as Nebula; and Sean Gunn (Gilmore Girls) as Kraglin. New cast members include Pom Klementieff (Oldboy), Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby, Everest), Chris Sullivan (The Knick, The Drop) and Kurt Russell (The Hateful Eight, The Thing).

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
