Earlier this week, we shared that actor Jeremy Renner was heading to the set of Avengers: Infinity War and now, it looks as if he has gotten a set-welcoming gift — the ever-so-popular Infinity War beanie we've seen other cast members wear around.
The beanie — the same one we've seen stars like Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn wear — includes a new-look Infinity War logo. While it's not clear whether the logo is a new, more official look at the branding that will be surrounding the film, it's substantially different than the one Marvel Studios has used in a public setting up to this point.
Infinity War marks the fifth time Renner will show up on the silver screen as Clint Barton, after appearances in Thor (2011), The Avengers (2012), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), and Captain America: Civil War (2016). Within the MCU as it stands, Barton is currently a fugitive on the run as he joined Captain America's live action version of the Secret Avengers group that opposes the Sokovia Accords.
Avengers: Infinity War brings the Guardians of the Galaxy to Earth to team up with the Avengers to face off against Thanos and his minions. It seems the Guardians now include Nebula among their crew.
Avengers: Infinity War is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, and stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Benicio del Toro, Tom Holland, and Anthony Mackie.
Avengers: Infinity War opens May 4, 2018.
