If you loved Kingpin on Daredevil, then you are not alone.

The infamous Marvel villain shook fans when they streamed the first two seasons of Daredevil on Netflix, leaving fans to wonder if the baddie would reappear in another Netflix series. Now, Vincent D'Onofrio is speaking about his character's future, and it seems he knows when the Kingpin could return.

The actor spoke with LMR for an interview during promotions for his latest film, The Magnificent Seven. Vincent confirmed he was not contractually obligated to appear in anymore Marvel projects but that he would gladly return if the content was good.

"Marvel, the company, and especially Jeff Loeb, who runs Marvel Television, he's a clever dude. All those people over there are pretty clever and they love talent. There's no giant commitment for me at Daredevil. Like I didn't have to sign my life away at all," he said. "When Jeff tells me there's something coming up and if I'm available, I'll be there. And because it's written so well, I'm going to show up. I'm going to do everything I can because the writing is so good."

As for when Kingpin may show up again, Vincent admitted he couldn't say. "That I can't answer," he said. "I do know, but I can't answer...so take that how you will. Jeff and Charlie (Cox) and Netflix love Kingpin, and so, Kingpin is good for Marvel's television stuff and I think they agree."

Judging from the actor's words, it seems like there is a pretty good chance fans will be seeing a comeback from Kingpin.

During his interview, Vincent also talked about his respect for Netflix and how they are handing their Marvel series. He said, "They're not pressuring you...They just want good material, good content."

"They give you money to make good content, so they're not pressuring actors to sign their life away either…. I think that there's this common ground where they say, 'Look, if the material is good are you going to show up?' and I said, 'Definitely.'"

Of course, fans will remember that they last saw Kingpin in Daredevil Season 2 after being incarcerated for basically bringing all kinds of chaos into Hell's Kitchen. The villain meets up with Frank Castle/Punisher during his stay and even manipulates him into killing one of his rivals.

Speaking about the twist, Vincent told Entertainment Weekly that Daredevil had always planned to use him again.

"I knew that I was going to come back in some form, but I didn't know what we were going to do until [producer] Jeph Loeb told me. I loved the idea of keeping it quiet and not letting the fans know. It's more fun for everybody. Once I realized what was happening story-wise, it was just exciting to revisit the role," he explained.

As for when Kingpin could return, many fans believe the violent villain will reappear in either The Defenders or Season 3 of Daredevil.
