The next stop for the Guardians of the Galaxy following their second Marvel Cinematic Universe outing in Vol. 2 is Avengers: Infinity War. There, the team of cosmic misfits will have their first encounter with Earth's mightiest heroes.
With two super heroic squads coming together for the first time, personalities will inevitably clash. Fans have been fantasizing about the moment for quite some time now but they're not alone in anticipating the massive ensemble. The Guardians cast is sharing their excitement while making the press rounds.
As it turns out, Gamora actress Zoe Saldana has one Avengers she is particularly excited to encounter during Infinity War.
"I was going to say Captain America because I love Chris Evans to death because my kids love Cacca Mecca, that's what they say, they say Cacca Mecca and every day we have to wake up and we have to play the soundtrack of Captain America every frickin' day," Saldana told ScreenRant. "So, I would love to see Captain America. Also because his abilities are super awesome like the Hulk."
At least Gamora has being green in common with the Hulk.
Speaking to ComicBook.com, the actress opened up about what she hopes to see when the two personality-heavy factions share the screen in 2018.
"I just hope that, as Guardians, we're able to keep our tone and we just add on all of this levity to the tension that's going on with the Avengers," Saldana said. "I just hope that we remain as the goofballs that we are that get everything right by making all the worst mistakes and we're just able to make everybody laugh. That's all!"
