6 Legend Of Tarzan Clips & B-Roll Footage Released

Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow have released half-a-dozen clips and over six-minutes of behind-the-scenes footage from The Legend of Tarzan.

In the first clip, Captain Leon Rom (Waltz) politely asks Jane (Robbie) to scream for him, so that he can lure Tarzan (Skarsgard) into his trap, but she declines his request and spits in his face. In the second clip, children are in awe of Tarzan's hands and ask him if he swings inside his home. In the third clip, we learn that Tarzan killed Chief Mbonga's (Hounsou) only son. In the fourth clip, Tarzan leads computer-generated stampede. In the fifth clip, Tarzan fights his brother, who happens to be gorilla. In the final clip, Jim Broadbent explains the "Africa situation" to Lord Greystoke.

It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgard) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Margot Robbie) at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.

Alexander Skarsgård (True Blood) stars in the title role, and he's joined by Oscar nominee Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction, the Captain America films), Margot Robbie (Suicide Squad), Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond, Gladiator), Oscar nominee John Hurt (The Elephant Man, the Harry Potter films), with Oscar winner Jim Broadbent (Iris), and two-time Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained).

David Yates (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) directed The Legend of Tarzan from a screenplay by Adam Cozad and Craig Brewer, story by Brewer and Cozad based on the Tarzan stories created by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Jerry Weintraub produced the film, together with David Barron, Alan Riche and Tony Ludwig. Susan Ekins, Nikolas Korda, Keith Goldberg, David Yates, Mike Richardson and Bruce Berman served as executive producers.

The Legend of Tarzan is slated for release on July 1, 2016.
