Back in October, the very first scene for Batman Vs. Superman was shot at a football stadium in California. The scene was shot earlier than the kickoff for the main production of the film, because director Zack Snyder needed a football crowd scene, which is easier to pull off when football season is actually going on. Now, new information has surfaced in regards to another scene that is being filmed for Batman Vs. Superman. According to The County Press (via Henry Cavill News), the first location shoot in Michigan has been revealed. The state of Michigan will be the main shooting location for Batman Vs. Superman, even though some scenes will be filmed in other areas. Batman Vs. Superman will reportedly be shooting a scene at Camp Metamora in Metamora, Michigan, which is near Flint, Michigan. While details of the scene are being kept secret, there are some details of the surroundings in which the scene will be shot. While the shooting is set to occur on former camp grounds, the camp buildings were previously torn down. Warner Bros. is reportedly building a new house on the property near Otsikita Lake. Metamora Township fire chief Dave Eady is quoted as saying, "There's a beautiful lake back there. They're building a home for one scene. All they're doing is one scene there, then they're going to tear everything down like they were never here." The scene will reportedly be filmed sometime in February 2014. Batman Vs. Superman is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on July 17, 2015.
