Guardians Of The Galaxy Extended TV Spot Shows New Footage

Marvel Studios has released a new extended television spot for Guardians of the Galaxy.

The TV spot shows some new footage of the Guardains, Ronan, and the Nova Corps.

Marvel also continues the use of '70s rock in their Guardians of the Galaxy campaign, appropriating "Cherry Bomb" by The Runaways for the advertisement. 

Guardians of the Galaxy opens August 1.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, which first appeared in comic books in Marvel Super-Heroes #18 (Jan. 1969) finds space adventurer Peter Quill the object of a bounty hunt after stealing an orb coveted by a treacherous villain. But when Quill discovers the power it holds, he must find a way to rally a quartet of ragtag rivals hot on his trail to save the universe.
