Avengers Newcomer Cobie Smulders Hopes to get Physical

Cobie Smulders, who plays Maria Hill in Marvel's film adaptation of The Avengers out this week, told MTV's Splash Page blog in an interview that while she doesn't know exactly what her role will be in any upcoming Marvel sequels, she hopes to get a little more physical in the future. "I really loved doing stunts," the actor told MTV. "And I hope that if we do more films that I can get more physical. I want to hit somebody with this," she said, indicating her fist. "Is that intense?" She told MTV that she doesn't yet know anything more than anyone else about future Marvel movies, saying that after sequels to Iron Man, Captain America and Thor, she's not sure what's going on--and even for those movies she doesn't know what, if any, role she or S.H.I.E.L.D. will play.
