At the Lexington Comic and Toy Convention, The Crow creator James O'Barr revealed that Boardwalk Empire actor Jack Huston has indeed landed the lead role in Relativity Studios' remake of The Crow.

O'Barr told Dread Central that Huston has "definitely been cast." O'Barr had been excited for Luke Evans to the play the part but he left the project and then O'Barr championed Sam Witwer and even though Huston got the part instead, that hasn't dampened his mood. He said he was "really happy with that choice."

Corin Hardy ("The Hallow") will direct the remake/reboot of Alex Proyas' 1994 film. The original starred the late Brandon Lee as the revenge-obsessed Eric Draven, who was killed on the set of the film because of a prop gun accident.
