Comic Book Men Super Hoagie

On the Super Hoagie episode of Comic Book Men, Bryan Johnson points out that if the fight in The Avengers movie had really happened it would have caused $160 Billion in damage. Bryan and Walt then debate over who would have to pay the damages for property destroyed by superheroes who are saving someone. A customer brings in Wolverine claws that he wants to sell. The claws aren't Marvel licensed Wolverine claws, but they are legitimate weapons. The customer asks for $60 for the Wolverine claws, but Walt only offers $30. After some negotiation, Walt agrees to buy the Wolverine claws for $40. Bryan Johnson brings in a menu from Readies sandwich shop which has 97 sandwiches named after local businesses and streets, but there's no sandwich named after the Secret Stash. Ming calls Tom over from Readies, and Walt brings up the "startling omission" from his menu. Tom agrees to add a Secret Stash sandwich to his menu if the Secret Stash guys come up with the sandwich. Walt suggests a sandwich competition. Walt wants Mike on his team, because Mike was once a trained chef. However, Ming insists that Mike is on his team. A customer brings in a Flash Of Two Worlds statue to sell. The customer wants $450 for the statue, but Walt only offers $50. Walt raises his offer to $60, but the customer won't sell for that low. A customer brings in an original copy of Amazing Fantasy #15, which is the first appearance of Spider-Man. The customer wants $18,000 for the comic, so Walt calls in Robert Bruce to appraise the comic. Robert Bruce values the comic at $2,500, but Walt offers $3,000 because it's a significant issue. Walt and the customer are unable to agree on a price. A customer brings in a Star Wars Chewbacca model kit to sell. The customer wants $65 for the model, but Walt says they are not a model store, but he would pay $10. After some negotiation, Walt agrees to pay $30 for the model. In the sandwich competition, Mike and Ming unveil a sandwich with fried chicken, bacon, extra sharp cheddar, and apple jam. Walt and Bryan unveil a sandwich with two breads, two cheeses, fried chicken, grilled chicken, ham, bacon, roast beef, and lettuce. After tasting both sandwiches, Tom selects Mike and Ming's sandwich as the Secret Stash superhero sandwich.
