DeNA Games, the studio behind Marvel's Contest of Champions and Transformers: Battle Tactics, is bringing Final Fantasy: Record Keeper to mobile devices in North America in spring 2015.

Final Fantasy: Record Keeper is a kind of "Best of" game for the Final Fantasy series of JRPGs, which spans over 25 years and 14 games, not counting spinoffs. The mobile game allows players to assemble a party out of characters from previous series in the game to battle some of the series' memorable bosses, and recreate some of the series' most iconic moments.

Check out the trailer below:

Players can preregister for the game at the official website in order to begin unlocking in-game content prior to release, including Final Fantasy X protagonist Tidus.

The free-to-download game has been incredibly popular in Japan, so maybe it will help hold Final Fantasy fans over until the release of Final Fantasy XV.
