Four years before Vin Diesel hit it big with a key role in Steven Spielberg’s 1998 World War II drama Saving Private Ryan, he took a gig at a 1994 toy fair selling Street Sharks toyline. The now star of the lucrative Fast & Furious franchise burst with excitement as he explained what’s so great about each figure: Boomer (later named Big Slammu), Sledge (later named Jab) and Ripster, the leader of the group.
