Lost and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra actor Saïd Taghmaoui has apparently joined the cast of Warner Bros.' forthcoming Wonder Woman movie, as evidenced by the fact that he seems to be posting photos from the set to his Facebook account.

Besides the revelation that Taghmaoui will appear in "Nightingale" -- the shooting title for Wonder Woman, and a sign seen behind him in one of the photos -- will likely be secondary to the revelation that it looks like Chris Pine's character will play the role of Marvel's Agent Carter -- a major supporting character who looks like his story will take place in the past.

Wonder Woman has long been rumored to be either a period piece, or a film that takes place both during the first half of the Twentieth Century and in the modern day. Since the title character is immortal and mystical, and since in some versions of the comics her mother preceded her as Wonder Woman, that rumor has always felt plausible, but the nature of the clothing worn by Pine and Taghmaoui feels like a confirmation.

Check it out below.

Earlier this week, DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns tweeted something at Patty Jenkins, the Wonder Woman director, that many fans took to mean the project was starting production.

Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman solo film, being directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster) and co-starring Chris Pine (Star Trek Into Darkness), will begin filming in November and will land in theaters on June 23, 2017. Gadot will first appear as Wonder Woman in March's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
