Games Of Thrones' Finn Jones Rumored To Be Playing Iron Fist

Rumor has it that a familiar face from Game of Thrones will be joining Marvel's Defenders.

That Hashtag Show is reporting a rumor that Finn Jones has been cast as Danny Rand, a.k.a. Iron Fist, the lead of Netflix's fourth planned Marvel Series. Jones plays Loras Tyrell on Game of Thrones, the lover of late would-be king Renly Baratheon and brother of Queen Margaery Tyrell.

That Hashtag Show reports to have heard about the casting through the same source that tipped them off to Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. casting Slingshot, but the source must have been a bit less certain about this one since the Show is categorizing it firmly as a rumor. Jones definitely falls into the right age range for the character, and looks the part as well. Additionally, Hashtag Show points out that Jones' Twitter account went dark around the same time that Luke Cage star Michael Colter publically claimed that Netflix and Marvel had already cast Danny Rand.

Iron Fist has no official premiere date, but is expected to debut in 2017.
