Commercial directors love making parodies of hot issues, stars, and pop culture icons, but it's rare that they get the stars themselves involved. In Heineken's new cinematic commercial "The Chase," they get Daniel Craig, the current James Bond, to play his role in a short film taking a tongue-in-cheek approach to the franchise and spy genre as a whole.

The spot includes blaring brass-filled music (and a familiar refrain at the very beginning, to boot), a ridiculous boat-chase sequence, and even a hilarious reference to one of the silliest weapons ever used by a classic Bond villain. Craig doesn't get up to too many hijinks himself, instead playing the cool and calm straight man to the absurdity around him.
