Kurt Russell Rumored To Play Star-Lord's Dad In Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2

It looks like Vin Diesel might get a Furious 7 co-star joining him on set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 in the form of Kurt Russell. According to a new report, Russell has caught the eye of Marvel Studios to play the role of Star Lord's father, opposite Chris Pratt.

Now, Marvel hasn't offered anything to Russell just yet, but per The Wrap's report, it looks like they'll be sitting down to talk about the role any day now.

Clearly, Russell would be a great fit in Marvel's space opera franchise and he'll be coming off hot roles in The Hateful Eight and Furious 7, like we mentioned above. The chemistry between him and Pratt would be electric.
