Preacher, Pee-Wee's Big Holiday To Premiere At SXSW 2016

Netflix's Pee-Wee's Big Holiday and AMC's Preacher are both set to premier at this year's SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, the event's organizers announced today.

Pee-Wee's Big Holiday is a return to the iconic character for star Paul Reubens. Directed by John lee, the film see Pee-Wee taking a vacation that's a long time coming. Hijinks surely ensue.

Preacher is Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg's adaptation of 1990s Vertigo Comics series created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. The series stars Dominic Cooper (Agent Carter) as Jesse Custer, a small town Texas preacher on a violent mission. The series also stars Ruth Negga (Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) as Tulip, Jesse's fiery, gun-toting girlfriend, and Joseph Gilgun (This is England) as Cassidy, Jesse's Irish-vampire best friend.

SXSW runs March 11-20, 2016.
