One of the coolest visual effects in Star Wars: The Force Awakens had nothing to do with major battles or lightsabers - it was that self-rising bread that Rey made from her one-quarter portion from Unkarr Plutt. Well, thanks to geek food expert Jenn Fujikawa, you too can eat Rey's Portion Bread.

The ingredients include: 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil, 4 tablespoons cake flour, 1.5 tablespoons sugar, 1/2 teaspoon matcha powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking powder, pinch of salt, 2 tablespoons whole milk, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.

From there, it's shockingly easy. You grease a mug with the oil, add the rest of the ingredients, stirring them in, with the milk and vanilla last, then microwave it for 45 seconds. Now, it's not self-rising on a makeshift open-stove in the hollowed-out body of an AT-AT walker, but this version is edible, and actually fairly tasty. Give it a try!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is in theaters now, and Star Wars: Episode VIII is shooting principal photography.
