The Walking Dead Escape Hits Atlanta, Booker T & DMC Appearing

The Walking Dead Escape takes place in Atlanta today (Saturday, May 31, 2014). It's the first-ever Atlanta stop for the immersive zombie obstacle course experience. At The Walking Dead Escape, Walking Dead fans can participate as "Walkers," "Survivors" or "Spectators." Survivors will climb, crawl, and slide their way through various zombie-infected evacuation zones. Those lucky enough to make it to the decontamination zone will have their level of infection assessed and then participate in the event's Fan Experience. Those participating as Walkers will be transformed into the undead by professional makeup artists, and they'll receive "zombie training" prior to their release on the course. In order to provide entertainment and accessibility to all, The Walking Dead Escape is not a race, and its participants will not be timed or required to run. The event will take place at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia and will also include some celebrity participants. WWE Hall of Famer Booker T will sign autographs and take photo opportunities at the Walking Dead Escape Fan Fest from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. DMC of rap duo Run DMC will also be in attendance. In addition, Dancer Marquese Scott and his dance crew, Dragon House, will be doing a choreographed dance made up as walkers at 9 PM in the FanFest area.
