The Walking Dead: Merle Lives On Conan!

Let's start the rallying cry now! Merle lives! Merle lives! While it might have seemed like Merle met his demise this season on The Walking Dead, we now have proof that Merle survived. Last night on the Conan O'Brien show, Merle showed up very much alive. Merle had Carol by his side, so she must have been part of some complicated plan that saved Merle from The Governor. Our theory is that maybe Merle was wearing a bullet-proof vest when The Governor shot him, and Carol helped Merle disguise another walker to look like Merle, so that the world would think he was dead. Why Merle would need to convince everyone he was dead, we're not sure, but we remember that Michael Rooker told the crowd at the Wizard World Portland Comic Con that Merle ain't dying, so we always suspected Merle's death was faked. On the Conan show, Merle and Carol hide out in the audience, before taking out a cameraman and Conan's basketball stunt double. Merle also shoots Andy Richter in the chest for telling a bad joke, but Andy survives (just like Merle somehow survived after being shot in the chest, see the connection).
