Scott Gimple Walking Dead Season 5

Season 4 of The Walking Dead just concluded and already showrunner Scott Gimple is hyping what is going to happen in Season 5. "Every eight episodes the show reinvents itself," said Gimple on Talking Dead. "It has to. It's just the way the show's always been. And it's incredible exciting. It's incredible challenging, and next season….Season 5…it will be a whole new show again." While Gimple avoided revealing exactly what would be happening with Beth, Tyreese, Carol, and Judith in Season 5, he did reveal that Rick Grimes would be in Season 5 "a little more frankly" than he was in Season 4. "This last half season I've loved. I think we've done some incredible work. But this next half season is going to…I guess be a nuclear weapon," said Gimple. Gimple also revealed that the writers were already working very hard on Season 5, and he had been down to Atlanta to look at all the new places they're going. Gimple added, "It's going to be an incredible season. It's going to be completely different from this year."
