With dozens of questions surrounding the current events of Game of Thrones, one of them stemmed from a moment in Sunday's episode with Sansa Stark. As she and her brother Jon Snow tried to rally armies behind their own to take on the Boltons, their numbers fell short of expectations. This prompted Sansa to take her own action despite Jon saying their current army is the army with which they'll fight.

In The Broken Man, we saw Sansa writing a letter and branding it with her House Stark stamp. It was too difficult to tell what the letter said in real time as it was left blurred or out of frame but one fan seems to have deciphered what she wrote and who she wrote to.

[S6E7] What was written in that letter? Let's have a look, shall we?

The deciphered text reads, "to protect me. Now you have a chance to fulfill your promise. […] Knights of the Vale are under your command. Ride north for Winterfell. Lend us your aid and I shall see to it that you are [well/properly] rewarded."

Who is Sansa writing to? Lord Petyr Baelish. Littlefinger tried once to serve Sansa after claiming to have realized his mistake. Littlefinger has come through for Sansa in the past, despite his more recent acts of betrayal. Don't forget the times in which he conspired to kill King Joffrey and help Sansa escape the persecution of Tyrion as he was framed for the king slaying.

Game of Thrones airs Sundays at 9 PM ET on HBO.
