For some fans, San Diego Comic Con might as well be in a galaxy far, far away. It’s a good thing, then, that the Star Wars Twitter is keeping out-of-town fans updated on SDCC reveals this year. And, as Hasbro just wrapped up their panel moment ago, the toy company had lots of Star Wars news to share.

The panel kicked off with Hasbro nodding towards Star Wars‘ continual success as its Twitter reported moderators saying, “It’s an awesome time to be a fan. With #TheForceAwakens and now #RogueOne, it’s like drinking from a fire hose.” It was then that Hasbro broke news on which Star Wars characters were being added to its Black Series. And, guys, the figures were worth the wait.
Hasbro announced that Hera, Tusken Raider, Qui-Gon Jinn, Emperor’s Royal Guard, Lando Calrissian, and General Kenobi would be added to the Black Series. The company also revealed that a fan-vote on the Star Wars website ended in Jaina Solo’s favor, so fans can expect to see the character enter the Black Series as well, but no figure photo was displayed of her.
However, the rest of the Black Series’ additions had promotional images released, and Hasbro took a moment to honor the artists who created those images. “Everyone putting all of that work into it (action figure photography) is an artist. We draw inspiration from them,” moderators said.
The panel went on to reveal Star Wars‘ 3.75″ figures of Grand Admiral Thrawn, Fenn Rau, Hera & her A-Wing, and Poe Dameron. Images of these goodies were also released online to the excitement of collectors and casual fans alike.
The panel ended with a simple statement as Hasbro teased “more cool stuff” would be coming as Star Wars‘ continues to grow.
