These 'Game of Thrones' Actors Had Cameos in 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi'

Star Wars: The Last Jedi introduced plenty of new characters to its cinematic universe - and quite a few are alums of Game of Thrones.

Spoilers for Star Wars: The Last Jedi below!

Vanity Fair recently outlined certain appearances in The Last Jedi, including those provided by Game of Thrones actors. While most are "blink and you'll miss it" cameos - aside from Gwendoline Christie's return as Captain Phasma, of course - fans of the beloved HBO series are sure to be delighted by them.

Among the most recognizable is Kate Dickie, who played Lysa Arryn in the early days of Game of Thrones. In The Last Jedi, Dickie plays a First Order officer, who helps intercept the crank call from Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac).

Quite a few other Game of Thrones alums also make appearances as First Order members. Mark Lewis Jones appears as Captain Canady, who barks about the dreadnought in the film's opening sequence. As some have pointed out, Jones' role bears a stark (pun intended) resemblance to his Game of Thrones role as Shagga of the Stone Crows.

By Jones' side is another Game of Thrones alum, Amira Ghazalla, who previously has been credited as a "Dothraki Crone." And rounding out the batch of cameos is Patrick O'Kane, who went from playing one of Jaqen's new faces to one of General Armitage Hux's (Domnhall Gleeson) First Order officers.

These sorts of cameos have become commonplace for the newer Star Wars films, as Nina Gold provides casting for both series. As fans will remember, Star Wars: The Force Awakens followed a similar pattern, with appearances from the likes of Max von Sydow and Jessica Henwick.

For those who have been keeping track, these are the latest of many cameos to make their way into The Last Jedi. Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Carrie Fisher's dog Gary, and even a second role from Mark Hamill can all be found somewhere in the film.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is in theaters now.
