Another star of The Walking Dead has removed their account from Instagram.

Within the past couple of weeks, Eugene Porter actor Josh McDermitt shut down his Twitter and Instagram accounts following death threats and an apparently overwhelming amount of negative remarks from fans of the AMC series. McDermitt became the subject of attacks when his character elected to betray the show’s protagonists in favor of the villainous Negan, who killed several of Eugene’s friends by the time the allegiance switch occured.

Now, Alanna Masterson appears to be following McDermitt’s lead.

Masterson, who plays Tara Chambler on The Walking Dead, took down her Instagram account comprised over over a million followers on Monday. The actress is a new mother and often shared photos of her little girl on the page but they are no longer visible to fans or followers as it has been completely removed from the social media channel.

At the time of publishing, Masterson’s Twitter account remains active with over 300 thousand followers.

Masterson joined the AMC series in its fourth season as Tara, one of the survivors with the misfortune of encountering the Governor. Tara began to see the true manipulative ways of the villain who was ready to cut Hershel’s head from his shoulders in a move that would launch the unforgettable prison battle, ultimately destroying the sanctuary for everyone who called it home.

Since joining, Masterson became a fan-favorite actress on the series, but if her quitting of Instagram is for the similar reasons as McDermitt’s, it would not mark the first time Masterson has been effected by the Internet’s negativity.

In a post now unavailable on Instagram, Masterson addressed the negative fans who criticized her weight after recent appearances on The Walking Dead. As mentioned earlier, she had recently had a baby. However, Mastersonย quickly became fed up with the Internet’sย anonymous bullies and stood up to them.

Here’s what her message said, as posted on November of 29, 2016, shortly after the airing of her Tara-centric “Swear” episode from The Walking Dead Season 7…

Dear Instagram trolls, body shamers, and the men and woman who think it’s ok to comment on my weight: I hope that you don’t have children. And if you do, I hope you teach them about kindness and acceptance. I hope they learn that it isn’t ok to make fun of people or call people names. I hope one day YOU learn what it takes to be a parent. A kind, selfless parent. A working parent. A parent that puts themselves in someone else’s shoes. Maybe you can’t get it through your thick fucking skull, but nursing a baby for a year (and pumping in a van between takes, in the dead of summer in Georgia) is a lot of work, determination, and scheduling. So before you decide to make a comment about my chest being “too large” or how “fat” I’ve become, just know that this little girl got the best start to life. I wouldn’t have changed it for a second. I would’ve gladly continued to eat enough calories to produce milk for her little bones to grow. Also, grow the fuck up. Your mother should be ashamed for raising such a judgmental bully. I’m sure she knows how “courageous” you must be for trolling and hiding behind your Iphone and computers. P.s. I would LOVE to see any man or woman give birth to a baby, nurse the baby, and then work 17 hour days and NAIL their own stunts. P.s.s. Be kind to each other. We need it now more than ever.ย

Whether or not Masterson’s choice to leave social media is related to the unnecessary commenting she and others are often subjected to is unkown at this point.
