The Walking Dead: 5 Predictions For ‘Something They Need’

Things are coming to a head in tonight’s penultimate episode of The Walking Dead‘s seventh season, and there’s no way trouble doesn’t begin to brew.

Sasha was last seen running into the Sanctuary, on her own, on a mission to take out Negan. Photos from the episode show that she didn’t complete her mission, so Negan’s probably going to have it out for her when he finds out.

Meanwhile, the rest of the group is in desperate need of some major firepower. Tara knows where to find it, but there will be plenty of trouble standing in the way.

A lot could go down this week, so here’s our five predictions for ‘Something They Need’.

Dwight Revealed

It’s pretty obvious at this point that Dwight is going to turn on Negan. The guy hates where he is, and that’s the storyline that unfolds in the comics.

At the end of last week, Rosita ran into someone on the road. It was set up to look like Daryl, but many are speculating it was actually Dwight.

This week, expect Rosita to reveal Dwight is with her, and wanting to switch sides.

Negan Kills Again

It’s been a little while since Negan took a life, so he should be itching to get back into the action.

Sasha infiltrated the Sanctuary on her own, and that’s not something Negan can abide. He will find a way to blame someone for the mistake, and he’ll probably exercise that punishment in a lethal sort of way.

Eugene Makes A Run For It

Eugene made it clear that he was happy with his place among Negan’s people. That may be how he felt last week, but he’s easily spooked.

If something happens to Sasha on the inside, Eugene could get a little too freaked out to stick around. 

There’s no telling what Eugene would do if he got too scared, so be on the lookout.

Rick Takes Oceanside

The episode is titled ‘Something They Need’, and the survivors need a lot of guns. Oceanside – that female community Tara found all those weeks ago – as plenty of guns at their disposal.

Rick’s going to have to make some moves if they want to take on Negan, so he’s going to be needing some firepower. Plus, he still owes Jadis more weapons that he doesn’t have.

Tara began to tell Rick about Oceanside, so look for him to make his movie tonight.

Sasha Dies

Something is going to happen to Sasha by the time this season ends, that much is certain. It’s just become a matter of when.

After failing to kill Negan at the end of the last episode, Sasha doesn’t have much left to lose. And Negan, he doesn’t take too kindly to enemies. It’ll be a miracle if Sasha doesn’t at least begin the process of dying this week.
