Life And Death: An Epic Tribute To The Walking Dead's Rick Grimes

Any fan of The Walking Dead who has gone back to watch the earliest season of the series in the past few months has gotten a healthy reminder of how far the characters have come. For those who haven't, there is an epic new video called Life and Death by YouTube user JoyReid8 which showcases Rick Grimes' journey over the years.

Putting the events of Rick's life in chronological order, the video starts out with the flashbacks from season one which saw Rick and his partner Shane Walsh sitting in the police cruiser recounting his argument with his wife Lori. Rick would almost certainly give anything for his biggest problems to be an argument with or comment from his wife these days.

The video also showcases the journey to Hershel's farm, Carl's getting shot in the woods, the battles with the Governor for the prison, the cannibals of Terminus and more. Rick's rise to power and near villainous fall to a place void of morals is quite remarkably displayed when he tells Gareth of Terminus that he hadn't killed him yet only because he "didn't want to waste the bullets."
