The Walking Dead: Five Predictions For Rock In The Road
The Walking Dead is finally back, so let's take a minute to celebrate.Okay, all done? Awesome! So, [...]
Gabriel Gets Kidnapped
Gabriel is standing watch at the end of the midseason finale, and it's clear that someone is watching Alexandria from a distance.
If anyone is going to discover this new stranger, it's going to be Gabriel. This could also lead to the character getting kidnapped.
The good Father has had some serious moments in the last few episodes, ones that have helped prove his worth. Now is the time to give him a real test, and see if those changes are going to come in handy.
A New Group Is Discovered
Either by taking Gabriel, or by being discovered by Rick, a new group will likely enter the fold in this new episode.
Even with the Hilltop and Kingdom, Rick still doesn't have the resources to take on the Saviors. He will need Oceanside, as well as a little bit more help.
This is where another group comes in, and Rock In The Road will likely introduce them.
Daryl And Carol
Back in the earlier seasons of the show, fans were shipping Daryl and Carol pretty hard. Since they've been separated though, the talk has died down a bit.
Daryl is back with the team now, and they're probably heading to the Kingdom. After all the time away - and the time Daryl spent eating dog food - Carol will be a sight for sore eyes.
Even if they don't see each other, there will at least be some talk on the subject. She wants to be left alone, but Morgan tends to have a big mouth.
Negan Loses It
Dwight is kind of a mess, Fat Joey is dead, and Daryl has escaped. Negan is not going to be a happy camper when he finds out.
We will see what kind of impact this has on the villain's personality, but there's no telling how he could react to these events.
Face To Face
Rick and Ezekiel are two of the biggest players in the game of war, and they will need to meet sometime soon if they want to get the show on the road.
Expect the two leaders to get some face time in this next episode, and expect them to kick off a relationship that will spell disaster for Negan and the Saviors.
