The Walking Dead spent the past episode focusing on Jesus, Gregory, and the people of Hilltop. Maggie and Sasha were also heavily featured on the episode, but the duo of men in charge displayed an enormous power struggle.

Gregory has shown his cowardly colors, and Jesus has shown his knack for doing what's right, along with exemplary fighting skills. The two clashed throughout the episode, and it was evident that more people aligned with Jesus.

The actors who played both characters were featured on Talking Dead Sunday night, along with filmmaker Kevin Smith. During a conversation between the three of them, Smith decided to throw out a fan theory he had while watching the episode.

During a scene where the two were fighting, Kevin said he noticed something peculiar about the pair. He noticed that Jesus and Gregory both had the same kind of blue eyes, and they shared a similar look when staring at each other.

According to Smith, it seems like the two men are related.

Smith backed up this theory by how Gregory handled things with Jesus. The whole episode, he seemed to have no issue with kicking Sasha and Maggie out of Hilltop. When he found out Jesus had lied to him, why not do the same? If he was so willing to send folks packing, surely one man wouldn't have made a difference.

If the two were family, Gregory would have had a harder time sending him off. No matter how much a family member, especially a son, defies you, you may not have the heart to let them go. It's a theme that has played out on Fear The Walking Dead, maybe it could be true for Gregory and Jesus as well.

It should be noted that this was not the case in the comics, and the two characters weren't related. With as many changes as the show has made, it may not be out of the realm of possibility.
